PARTNER level is the highest rate in the Achieving Excellence program of John Deere.
John Deere’s Achieving Excellence program evaluates several key categories, such as, quality, cost-management, delivery or technical support.
Today Bellota (part of Agrisolutions) provides tillage and planting and seeding solutions for different facilities in the world. Bellota in the Quad Cities (US), Hamilton (Canada), Legazpi (Spain) and Indaial (Brazil) are suppliers of coulters, openers, assemblies, concave discs and tines to several John Deere manufacturing plants, as Des Moines (IW, US), Seeding (IL, US), Valley City (ND, US) and John Deere Mexico and John Deere Brazil.
“We are glad to achieve PARTNER level once again this year,” said Eduardo Urrestarazu, Global VP Marketing and Commercial Manager at Bellota. “It is not easy to achieve for eight years in a row this prestigious and challenging award. We constantly work in new management methods to improve our efficiency and reduce waste, as for example, LEAN Manufacturing method and KAIZEN among others. We are glad to see that John Deere is aware of all this effort and has an impact in their business”. Eduardo also announced that “Our business has significantly increased in the last years in the US, for this reason, we are moving to a new facility in the Quad Cities, which will make us be more efficient and increase our product portfolio manufactured in the Mid-West. This new location will be ready by summer and will increase the capacity of discs and assemblies manufactured to better serve our customers”.
Bellota Agrisolutions started back in 2003 to work for John Deere and in 2008 decided to open a facility in US to better service the market. Since then, business in the US has increased significantly. Bellota assemblies are highly regarded in the market for high quality. They are manufactured with a worldwide patented machine to guarantee warping and assure flatness in all assemblies.
